Priorities

First,  I’m sorry I haven’t shared my stories or general musings this year.  Perhaps I’ll return to that someday. The world is going through a dark time, and it has affected me in ways I didn’t expect.  Consequently, I’ve prioritized practicing mitigation strategies.

So, there are armed members of The National Guard on the streets of DC tamping down an invisible epidemic of violence.  Masked people who refuse to identify themselves are abducting and disappearing people off the streets, apparently sending them to prisons both inside and outside our country.  Government officials and workers are being fired for the offense of doing their jobs (my nephew’s wife).  Vital government services like CDC, NOAA (weather service), DOE, USAID, and FEMA have been gutted.  Our international adversaries are being courted and our traditional allies are being discarded. Our economic system has been turned upside-down with the hammer crash coming soon to a community where you live.

Our world teeters on a brink, above a crevice open to the molten outer core of the Earth.  However, many citizens through social media have newly awakened and successfully petitioned against  the greatest threat to our social structure in history: The change of the Cracker Barrel logo.
